Exhibition planning & curatorial support
With centralized access to the largest collection of Magu’s creative output, the Magulandia Archive plays an important role in supporting the curatorial and exhibition planning of exhibitions showing Magu’s work. Our searchable catalog of Magu artwork documents thousands of 2D & 3D works across dozens of collections supporting a wide range of exhibition themes and narratives.
Magulandia considers loan requests from qualified non-profit museums, organizations, and galleries for temporary exhibitions. See our domestic lending policy for more information.
Magulandia works with educators and museums to develop and execute ancillary programming to support their respective programs. Examples of recent programming include Mental Menudo discussion forums, art workshops, lowrider days and panel discussions.
Magu’s vibrant, playful work has been used extensively and effectively in numerous educational textbooks, scholarly publications, and video documentaries. Magulandia encourages the use of his work in thoughtful and provoking ways.
